Kelly McGillis was born on March 4, 1964 in Los Angeles, California. She is the youngest of four children of Donald McGillis and his first wife, actress Judy Holliday. Kelly is the middle child of the Holliday family. Her parents divorced when she was young
Kelly spent her early years traveling extensively with her mother, who was appearing on Broadway and in films. It wasn't until she was nine years old that Kelly's father remarried. The marriage lasted only two years; Kelly's mother had a second marriage of thirteen years before divorcing again in 1984.
